Day 1

Rockefeller Habits Overview – Day 1

Learn the fundamentals of the Rockefeller Habits. This workshop is based on learning and doing. Not only will you learn so many things on how to effectively run your business, but also what are the actions needed in order to accomplish your goals effectively. We will focus on the ONE THING that will change your business.

Business Framework

In this section we will introduce you to the Rockefeller Habits foundation and The Gazelles Growth Tools designed to assist you in growing your business. We will also explain the four step Gazelles Growth Method (4-3-2-1 = Results).

  • 4 Decisions – Cash, People, Strategy, Execution
  • 3 Disciplines – Priorities, Metrics, Meeting Rhythms
  • 2 Drivers – People, Processes
  • Result – Baseline One-Page Strategic Plan

Cash

Cash is the most important thing that a company needs. For all companies, cash is the oxygen of the company. Before we can start thinking about growth, we need to focus on how to improve our cash position. We will focus on the Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC) and we will find the oxygen that you need to grow fast.

People

We need to focus on the people that work on the company. This section focus on tools and techniques to get, keep and grow the best people in your industry. We will not only focus on how to get great people for each position in your organizational structure, but most importantly, make them accountable.

Strategy

We need to find the true identity of your company. This identity is the personality that your customer experiences every time they purchase a product or service from you, talk to your employees or talks to other people about your company. This section will help you discover the true DNA of your company.

Day 2

Rockefeller Habits Overview – Day 2

Since the workshop has been created to give you flexibility, we will review the results of the first day, set our goals for the second and continue with the rest of the workshop focusing on Execution.

Decisions – Strategy

During this section we will focus on discovering what makes your product or service uncommon. There is no such thing as a commodity. Every company has something that makes their products different from the rest of the companies in the industry. We will work on your brand promise, your inside and unique advantage. Based on these results we can start building a plan for the future.

Execution – Annual & Quarterly Plan

Strategy is about the right things and Execution is about doing the right things. In this section we will focus on discipline and repetition. We will work on the three execution disciplines (Priorities, Data/Metrics,Meeting Rhythms) that will help you:

  • Identify your priorities
  • Identify the right metrics
  • Publicly communicate your metrics
  • Meet regularly to keep focus

Execution – Themes

Effective communication always needs to begin with the end in mind. In this section we will explore how themes can be a powerful tool to communicate with all your stakeholders effectively. We will learn how to uncover great themes and find the ones that are right for your company.

Execution – Individual Plan

The priorities of each person that works for your company needs to be aligned with the company priorities. In this section we will explore how to create in each employee a personal accountability. We will make sure that everyone in the company is on the same path.

Execution – Dashboards

Dashboards are a powerful tool that can help you align your team and execute your plan better. In this section we will learn how to use dashboards and KPI’s to diagnose your company at any time.

Execution – Meeting Rhythms

In this section we will focus on effective meetings. Meetings allow you to have the right rhythm, creating the right routine and help you recognize the right patterns. Meetings are the key to stability. We will explore the best way to create the discipline of meetings and getting the best results from them.

Execution Strategy Follow Up

Quarterly Planning (1 day)

After defining strategy and execution in the 2-day session, you need to make sure that everything is done according to plan and most importantly that everyone in the company is fully aware of what is needed to be accomplish. Quarterly meetings should focus on the alignment of your team, review and ensure all your Core Values are alive and discuss the top three priorities of the company.

The coach works as a facilitator for this meeting. Along with the Owner or CEO and the entire management staff, they will all focused on checking the past 13 week activities and make sure that they all have been done according to the companies strategy for the year. Theme definition is also one of the most important elements of this meeting. Once goals and desired results are defined, we start working on the new theme and how all the employees in the company are going to learn about it.

Annual Planning (2 days)

Markets are evolving faster than ever. We can’t just continue doing the same things year after year, even if last years performance was great. In the Annual Planning Session helps evaluate the new strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities in order to create the strategy and execution plan that the company will follow for the next 4 quarters.

The coach works with the company as a facilitator for this meeting. All departments or business units need to define their goals, key initiatives and measurements. The one-page strategic plan is redefined to the new changes in order to define quarterly themes, and individual accountability and measurements.

Communication (Meeting Rhythms)

Meetings allow you to have the right rhythm, creating the right routine and helping recognizing the right patterns. This can only be accomplish through effective meetings. With a structure of daily, weekly, monthly meetings is the best complement for your quarterly and annual meetings. The coach will help you assisting the daily, weekly and monthly workshops. The first set of meetings can be facilitated by the coach as well.
